October 29, 2020 Fall Leadership Seminar Series: Emotional Intelligence Emotional intelligence can be defined as the subset of social intelligence that involves skills in perceiving, understanding, and monitoring emotions and feelings of self and others. Professionals in most fields of work agree that it is important to try to improve emotional intelligence to be successful, but for what? And once we know what this means, how can these skills be appropriately used in personal and professional settings? November 2, 2020 Engaging Students by Utilizing QR Codes In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to create a QR code that will enable students to easily contact their professors, review a class, ask questions about events around campus and so much more. Participants will receive a primer on Google Forms, creating a Google quiz and how to create the QR code and a link for their course, event or any other desired preference.
